Ingredients:

1 lb. pork sausage
6 medium white potatoes
1 cup cheese, grated
1 small can Pet milk
1 small onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
2 eggs
salt and pepper to taste |

Directions:

Peel and slice potatoes like potato chips. Boil the sliced potatoes and chopped onion in the cream of chicken soup and water until tender. Saute sausage in a skillet and chop to crumble as it cooks; drain. Place half of the potatoes in a casserole dish. Top with sausage and cheese. Then layer again with the other half of the potatoes. Mix the milk and eggs together and pour over the top. Cook in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. |

My husband really likes this dish. He likes to have Ranch style beans as a side dish to this. My father-in-law gave me this recipe from an Alabama Living Magazine a number of years ago. |
