Ingredients:
|
2 (13.3 ounce) cans refrigerated pizza crust dough, divided
1 (14 ounce) jar pizza sauce
1 (6 ounce) package pepperoni slices
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
Extra pizza sauce, optional |
|
Directions:
|
Unroll and press 1 can pizza crust dough into a lightly greased 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan or cookie sheet.
Spread half of pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with half each of pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese; repeat layers with remaining pizza sauce, pepperoni slices, and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese.
Roll remaining can of pizza dough into a 15 x 10-inch rectangle, and place on top of mixture in pan.
Crimp edges with a fork to seal. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees on bottom rack for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, and let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Serve with additional pizza sauce if desired. |
